Nehemiah Journey: Day 17 of 52 (September 22, 2021)

Today marks five weeks remaining in our 52-Day Prayer Journey. A whole lot can change in five weeks. As we continue to pray be encouraged. Understand God’s timing is rarely our timing, but His timing is always perfect. One of my prayers on a consistent basis is for the Lord to help me trust His ways. I may not understand what He is up to or why things are happening the way they are, but I CAN TRUST HIM.

I look forward to seeing you all tonight for small group bible study and pray God would enable you to put away distractions and focus on Him. Day by day may we be obedient as God speaks to our lives and our hearts to do what He is telling us to do. May we cry out to God as David did in Psalm 51:10–12:

¹⁰ Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right^[b] spirit within me. ¹¹ Cast me not away from your presence and take not your Holy Spirit from me. ¹² Restore to me the joy of your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit.
