We are halfway through our 52 Day prayer journey. Do you remember in Nehemiah 4:6 where the people have completed the wall up to half its height? They are half way through the task, what an accomplishment! In Nehemiah 4:10–12 the workers are tired, they are fearful, and they are being threatened from the outside. What did Nehemiah do? He prayed, encouraged them, and went back to the work. Because of threats, weariness, and the vastness of the remaining task the workers become discouraged and have to be reminded of the goals they started with.
What did you ask God to do in these 52 days? What did you start off praying for? What has God done already? Praise Him for who He is, and keep praying or for some of you start praying and see what God does. You might say I do not feel like He has answered any of my prayers. Keep praying, keep waiting, and keep doing what it is He has called you to do, follow Him, love Him, love others, and make disciples.
I promise you He is moving all around you and through many of you. We have seen people saved, people physically healed, people emboldened to share the Gospel. Do not stop half-way in this journey. I am convinced the greater movement of God is yet to come!
